About Us

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) exists to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality in 170 countries and regions in the world, including Indonesia. UNDP aims to assist countries in developing policies, leadership skills, partnering capabilities, institutional capabilities, and building resilience to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. UNDP has three focus areas, namely (1) sustainable development, (2) democratic governance and peacebuilding, and (3) climate and disaster resilience.

Together with the Government of Indonesia, UNDP is committed to assisting and supporting national priorities and the implementation of the 2020-2024 Medium Term Development Plan and other national and regional development plans. UNDP works to help Indonesia eradicate poverty, encourage inclusive economic growth, reduce disparities between groups and regions, and help achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 throughout Indonesia.
