Komisi Aparatur Sipil Negara (KASN) is a non-structural institution that is independent and free from political intervention to create professional and performant civil servants who provide services fairly and impartial, and act as a uniter for the nation.

KASN functions are to supervise the implementation of basic norms, codes of ethics and codes of conducts for civil servants, as well as the implementation of the Merit System in civil servants’ policy and management in Government Agencies.

KASN job is to:

1. Maintain the impartiality of civil servants
2. Supervise the development of the civil servant’s profession
3. Report supervision and evaluation of the implementation of civil servant’s management policies to the President of Indonesia.
